SAMAJ also publishes different kinds of book reviews: short reviews on one book (minimum 1000 words) longer analytical review articles and review essays assessing multiple books on the same subject (maximum 6000 words). Every article should include a minimum of five keywords. An abstract of 200 words maximum, describing the main arguments of the article should be included in the submission. Photographs, graphics, maps or illustrations in relation to the contribution may be included. This includes footnotes and endnotes, but excludes abstract and bibliography. Articles submitted should be about 6,000 to 8,000 words.
